Bored of your old makeup routine? I'm going to share with you some of my favorite tips to spruce up your makeup for spring/summer. I'll give you five looks for a school week. (:
1; chocolate mauve
~ soft light baby pink eyeshadow
~ charcoal brown eyeshadow
~ purple-y mauve eyeshadow
~ white eyeliner
~ rosy cream blush
~ black mascara
~ black liquid eyeliner
step one; after priming your eyelid, take white eyeliner and highlight your inner corner and brow bone. this will give you that fresh glimmery eye look we want for spring. then scribble the white onto the lid a tad and blend. this will make the pink shadow POP.(:
step two; apply the soft pink to the lid. use PATTING motions. make sure the color isn't too bright dark pink, we are going for SOFT like a ballet slipper. IF it is looking too neon, apply an offwhite/cream color on top.
step three; add a purple-mauvey color to the outer corner up into the crease with a angled eyeshadow brush.
step four; add a charcoal brown to the crease to contour the eyes. this will look so gorgeous with the babypink - mauve look.
step five; curl lashes & apply two coats of black mascara & some black liquid liner thinly on top. remember; CLEAN & THIN !
step six; rosy cream blush onto the apples of your cheeks.
&voila, you're done. ♥
2; ripe peach
~ cream colored eyeshadow
~ light peach eyeshadow
~ brown pencil eyeliner
~ black mascara
step one; apply light peach eyeshadow to lid.
step two; apply the cream color to inner corner and browbone for highlight.
step three; use chocolate brown eyeliner to draw a line on the upper lash line. make it smudgy. add a little on the waterline.
step four; black mascara and your done.
3; pop of color
~ champagne / cream eyeshadow
~ black liquid liner (optional)
~ mascara
~ turquoise blue eyeliner
~ coral-y red lipgloss
step one; apply eyeshadow to lid, and a little on the browbone & inner corner.
step two; use mascara. i would use brown for a more natural look. i would add a little bit of black liquid liner to the outer upper lashline, but you don't have to. (:
step three: apply a turquoise blue eyeliner to your waterline. you don't have to use this color, you can add whatever pop of color suits you. blue would look flattering on everyone.
step four: apply some coral-y red lip gloss. opt for a sheer color that still has pigment. try loreal hip jelly balm's "delectable".
i love this look. (: it's so fresh & pretty & eye brightening. not only quick and easy, but perfect for spring.
4; summer smoky
~ light neutral eyeshadow
~ medium purply brown eyeshadow (like satin taupe)
~ dark matte brown eyeshadow
~ mascara
~ black & white eyeliner
step one; add light color under browbone for dimension.
step two; apply medium brown on lid & lower lashline. take your finger and slightly smudge on the lid to make brown look more smudgy.
step three: add some dark matte brown eyeshadow on the outer corner. make it look not too noticeable.
step four; apply black eyeliner on upper lashline & white eyeliner in inner corner.
step five; mascara & your done. (:
5; neutral glam.
~ black mascara
~ sparkly tan eyeshadow
~ peach blush
~ peachy pink lipgloss
step one; Apply black mascara to your eyelashes.
step two; Apply a light layer of sparkly tan eyeshadow to your eyes.
step three; Apply a light layer of peach blush to your cheekbones.
step four; swipe on peachy pink lip gloss.
